Access The Item Menu Cheat

Play VS Mode 50 times.

Access Sound Menu

Beat Bonus Stages 1 and 2 using all hidden characters and all regular characters.

Play As Jigglypuff

Beat the game, then beat JigglyPuff.

Play As Luigi

Beat Bonus Game 1 with 8 regular characters, then beat Luigi and he will become playable.

Play As Captain Falcon

Beat the game using any Character, any Difficulty, and any amount of lives in under 20 Minutes without continuing, then beat Captain Falcon and he will be playable.

Play As Ness

Beat the game on Normal Difficulty and 3 lives without continuing, then beat Ness and you will be able to play as Ness.

Access Classic Mushroom Kingdom

Beat the game with all 8 original characters on any Difficulty. The Mushroom Kingdom will now be selectable under vs. mode.

Lose Kirby's Gained Power

After eating someone and gaining their power as Kirby, Press L for his taunt and to lose the power.

Alternate Outfits

At the Character Select Screen Press any of the C Buttons to change your characters outfit.

Steal A Life

In a Team Game if you lose a life you can Press Start to take one from your partner.

Have Mew Randomly In Pokeballs

After getting all of the hidden characters Mew will appear randomly in the Pokeballs.

Control The Credits

While the credits roll:

Press the Control Stick to change the angle and move the target.

Press Start to change the speed.

Pick a name using the target and Press A for more info.

Press B to freeze and unfreeze the credits.

Japan Version Cheats

Access The Items Switch Menu Cheat

In Vs. Mode select any human controlled player and any 3 computer players. Choose Stock Mode, and set the number lives to 10, and computer handicaps to 5. Play and win the a game. Now go to Options in Vs. Mode for the Items Switch Menu.

Play As Captain Falcon

Beat the game with any character, then beat Captain Falcon and he will become playable.

Play As Luigi

Beat Break The Target Bonus Game 1 with 8 regular characters and 1 bonus character, then beat Luigi and he will become playable.

Play As Ness

Beat the game on Normal Difficulty and 3 lives without continuing, then beat Ness and you will be able to play as Ness.

Play As Purin

Beat the game with Captain Falcon, then beat Purin.

Access Sound Menu
